A note from "Happy in Diocesan Life:"
Just a quick note..as we celebrate Father's day tomorrow. I am glad that I don't need some special permission to call my dad tomorrow and if my ministry would permit, I could be there....so many years in the Legion, we prayed for them and that is important, but nothing else. I bring this up, because so many of these hard core RC men and women got special breaks in visiting their sons...because if one was integrated, with vocations, ECyD, clubs in general...he would often make trips and see his son in Cheshire, Thornwood, Rome etc... or you could call home to "cultivate" people you knew..because it was "apostolate." I just wish that Pope Francis knew of the hypocrisy in the LC...of how the LC is more like an NGO instead of true discipleship... because DePaolis sure doesn't have a clue. Btw, to all you dad's out there, Happy Father's day..great for you to spend time with you families instead of doing LC apostolate this weekend!
And likewise from the entire community of readers: prayers and best wishes for all you dads!
